wprm-block-text-normal\" data-recipe=\"64380\"><h3 class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-normal wprm-align-left wprm-header-decoration-none\" style=\"\">Instructions<\/h3><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-group\"><ul class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\"><li id=\"wprm-recipe-64380-step-0-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a muffin tin with 12 muffin liners and spray the inside of the liners with nonstick cooking spray. This is just so they come out easier!<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-64380-step-0-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\"><span style=\"display: block;\">In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vanilla, egg, almond butter, melted and cooled coconut oil, coconut sugar, pure maple syrup, flaxseed meal, and milk until smooth and creamy.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-64380-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients: oat flour, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda, optional cinnamon and salt. Mix batter until well combined. Fold in \u2153 cup chocolate chips into the batter.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-64380-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Divide batter evenly into the prepared muffin liners. Sprinkle the tops of the muffins with 2-3 tablespoons of the remaining chocolate chips. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a tester comes out clean. Transfer muffins to a wire rack to cool and enjoy! Makes 12 muffins. Store these in the fridge for muffins that taste like fudge brownies. Feel free to warm up for 10-15 seconds in the microwave.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"ak-rcp-f\">\n  <div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes-container wprm-block-text-normal\"><h3 class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-notes-header wprm-block-text-normal wprm-align-left wprm-header-decoration-none\" style=\"\">Recipe Notes<\/h3><div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes\"><span style=\"display: block;\">*I love using chocolate almond butter but really any nut butter should work okay. After testing, I believe the flavor of these muffins is best with almond butter. I also think using \u2153 cup tahini or chocolate tahini (instead of \u00bd cup) would be fabulous.<\/span><div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div>\n<span style=\"display: block;\">I have not tested this recipe using any other flours. Please know that you can easily make your own oat flour using <a title=\"How to Make Oat Flour\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ambitiouskitchen.com\/how-to-make-oat-flour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this tutorial<\/a>,\u00a0just be sure to grind it very finely.<\/span><div class=\"wprm-spacer\"><\/div>\n<span style=\"display: block;\">The recipe is meant to be nutritious and perfect for a \u2018healthy\u2019 snack or treat for kids or adults.
